Potential use of beneficial microorganisms in ecological restoration; an experimental approach in the Bogotá Capital District

Abstract
The use of microorganisms for improving the soil quality or biofertilizing plants has been used in the last years like a strategy to improve the performance or decrease the quantity of agrochemicals in the soil. In this essay is proposed the use of beneficial microorganisms -mycorrhizas and rhizobium- to inoculate species that the Botanical Garden José Celestino Mutis uses for ecological restoration projects. This study shows a summary of information that has been obtained through beneficial microorganisms’ researches which have been developed by the Botanical Garden. One result is related with the quantity of spores found in three native species of three different growth states Lycianthes lycioides (gurrubo), Dodonaea viscosa (hayuelo) and Persea mutisii (aguacatillo). The other result shows the quantity of spores/10 g obtained after multiplication with four tramp plants.
