Reflexiones en tomo a la Educación Ambiental en Bogotá a partir de la implementación de Escenarios Vivos de Aprendizaje, EVA, en siete quebradas del Distrito Capital

Abstract

Different ecosystems in Bogotá had provided spaces for the development of Environmental Education that look for the transformation of community's culture, promoting the environment and its biodiversity. However, discussions around the academic fact of this subject confront the principles and objectives of the Environmental Education, allowing in all kind of communities the adoption of a discipline in their way of being related and elucidate the reality's phenomenon, that gives way to explain the real causes of the environmental problems and that reveal the economical and political background that underlies them.

This research develops the methodology of Alive Scenarios of Learning, EVA, to check the need for incorporate practice in the pedagogy, but not only as a mere cliché but as a fact. For this, the practice of the ecosystem recovery and the propagation of species in seven brooks of the District, were used as a mean to develop a critical and deep thought. At the end, a call is made to use the Environmental Education to go farther of the individual's behavior and to reveal the evident effect of the productive dynamics on the territories and on the social performs.

The results of this research showed that the practical work with communities, regarding management of riparian ecosystems, encourages critical and reflective attitude, within the social, economic and environmental impacts occurring at different spatiotemporal scales, all of which are linked to urban ecosystems, especially riparian ecosystems.
