Volunteer contribution for the urban tree cultivation upon the vehicles tax in Bogotá

Abstract

Exists a relationship between the vehicles running through the city and the trees. This relationship has two aspects: the trees pick up pollutants generate by the mobile sources -specifically CO₂ - and the vehicles with their emissions -specially MP₁₀ Particle fatter- generate strong affections and phytosanitary problems in the trees of Bogotá.

The collection volunteer contribution have specific destination on the vehicles tax, through which it would be supported the Urban Tree Planting Program carried out by the Botanic Garden José Celestino Mutis for Bogotá city.
